AIESEC used to be an abbreviation for “Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales”, which is an independent, non-political and not-for-profit organisation run by students. The organisation aims to provide global internships and global volunteer opportunities for students. AIESEC also helps companies and non-government organisations to source interns and volunteers. So the target audiences of AIESEC include both students of colleges and universities from all over the world and international companies and organisations around world. Since its establishment in 1948 by a French student Jean Choplin, AIESEC now has more than 100,000 young members from 126 countries and territories. It also connects with more than 5,000 companies such as Google, Microsoft, Logitech, Unilever and so on. These are what the organisation already have and have been working with so far. Its audiences are far beyond that. It is still a growing organisation and trying to work with more students, companies and NGOs around the world. So the demographic of the audiences would be much larger what it already have now. Every college students and every companies and NGOs around the world are its audiences. The goal of this social media campaign is to make AIESEC a more well-known and world-famous organisation, to let more people know about it, interested in it and join it. It is still a growing organisation, and is trying to help and work with more students, companies and NGOs around the world.
